If you are a passenger and the driver doesn't have a license (let's say Permit only) would you get punished if the cops pulled you over?

Is said passenger licensed and over 21? Even if not it's still unlikely but these kind of laws vary by state.

No, two unlicensed minors. Only the driver is really breaking a law, so I doubt the passenger would be punished.
